No Country for Old Men: an incredible, Oscar Award-winning thrilled starring Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin and Tommy Lee Jones. An artistic, impactful movie that left me wanting (so) much more by the end of it.
Shameless (duh): If you read my last Favorites post, you would know I am a die-hard Shameless fan. This gritty, Showtime show is back for its seventh season, which I could not be more excited about.
Fleur de Force’s YouTube videos: I have been avidly watching YouTube since 2009, and few videos get me more excited than anything by Fleur. If you’re into vlogs, in my opinion, very few people do them better than this buddly British beauty blogger (woah).
Peanut butter chicken: I whipped up this concoction early-September, and I can’t get enough of it. Mix plain grilled chicken with melted peanut butter, cinnamon, maple syrup and apples. PLEASE don’t knock it until you try it!
La Colombe draft latte: This Philly-based coffee company is known for its “draft lattes,” and believe me…they don’t disappoint. Think of it as a super light and frothy coffee-flavored milkshake (but not nearly the same amount of calories).
Kashi GoLean bars: My apartment complex has been giving these bars out for free, and it got me HOOKED. I’ve been loving the Dark Chocolate Cashew Chia one for a snack.
Jif Maple peanut butter: As you can tell, I love nuts (keep your mind out of the gutter!). That being said, you can get how excited I was to find this Maple peanut butter that I can slather on toast or mix into oatmeal.
White Report slip-ons: I wrote about these in my last Favorites put and, sorry to be boring, but I’m still obsessed with them. So fresh and so versatile.
Thin chokers: I think chokers can, at times, look a little too trendy, so I’ve been balancing the style out by wearing super thin ones. They still get the idea across without looking like I’m trying too hard, ya feel?
Matching “play suit”:…well, kinda. Whenever I am in a rut trying to figure out what the frig to wear, I would toss on my navy and white striped shirt from Brandy Melville, and matching navy, cotton shorts from H&M. Lifesaver.
Reading magazines: I mean, duh! You’re talking to someone who wants to be a fashion magazine editor here!
Exploring D.C.: I have been on a roll lately with talking jaunts into the nearby city. It’s very lovely. Check out what I did one of those times here.
Screenplay writing: Yes, friends, I’m into film, too (: This past year, I realized that film is a huge passion of mine, and I am excited to pursue it further as the year goes on!
