If you know me, you know there is a huge part of me that would die to live, dance and groove in the 1970s.
This is mainly why I was beyond excited to throw on this amazing 1970s-style dress that eShakti.com so kindly let me select from its vast selection of dresses that cater to almost every taste and style. But, one of the coolest things I was able to do via eShakti was customize this style dress right to my liking!
I ultimately ended up shortening the hem of dress, bringing it from at my knee caps to a couple inches above my knee, and I am really loving how it turned out and just how 1970s it feels.
I’ve actually never come across a clothing site that offers customization for free. I personally think this is an amazing concept that really differentiates eShakti from the pack.
More specifically, you can adjust a dress’s neckline, length and hem style. Not only that, but there are a good amount of options to choose from in each category.
But, back to me. When I opened the nicely-packaged box from eShakti, I knew exactly what I would pair this dress with: my favorite, classic wedges from NineWest, my tassel-detail bag from Rebecca Minkoff and–following the theme of 1970s–my circle sunnies I got from Camden Market in London.
If you could have lived in any other decade, which one would it be and why? Let me know in the comments below!
