Hello, dear viewers. I’ve been doing a lot of traveling lately–two weekends ago, I was in Rockport, Mass. One weekend ago, I was in central Maine. This weekend, I found myself on the shores of my inspiration and my nostalgic second home–Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire.
I could ramble on about the beauty, serenity, simplicity, and nostalgia that will forever be floating through the calm and sweet air of the lake, but…I think the pictures that I am about to share with you will do an absolutely fantastic job at explaining that.
Because around Lake Winnipesaukee, you can do almost anything, like…
Sit back, read and tan on one of its beaches.
And maybe eat dinner there.
As the sun sets.
Or climb a neighboring mountain.
And eat dinner there.
And go to a farmer’s market in the morning, perched in between lush, green hills.
To narrow it down a little bit, here are some of my favorite spots around beloved “Lake Winnie:”
1.) Sawyer’s Dairy Bar for some of the best ice cream and lobster rolls you will ever have.
2.) Beans and Greens Farm for the freshest fruits, veggies and baked goods.
3.) The Wining Butcher for the makings of the most perfect beach cookout.
4.) Downtown Wolfeboro for some quaint shopping and authentic New England grub.
5.) Gunstock Mountain for hiking during the summer and skiing during the winter.
So…what are you waiting for?
